Reptilicus: The tail of a prehistoric beast, recently found, spawns into the whole animal. Only excellent for a few laughs as script hits every possible beast film stereotype, right to the very last shot. The picture was filmed in Denmark. Thieves: Hard postwar drama about a returning vet looking for revenge from his trucker dad’s punishment at the hands of a crooked fruit trader in San Francisco. Cast includes Richard Conte, Valentina Cortese, Lee J. Cobb, Barbara Lawrence, Jack Oakie, Millard Mitchell, and Joseph Pevney. (94 minutes, 1996)

A Guy Namend Joe: Excellent cast flounders in lazy fantasy in reference to WW2 guide Tracy returning to the planet to give youthful serviceman Johnson a hand in his romance with Tracy’s lady friend Dunne. Cast includes Spencer Tracy, Irene Dunne, Van Johnson, Ward Bond, James Gleason, Lionel Barrymore, Barry Nelson, Esther Williams, and Don DeFore. (120 minutes, 1943)

The Delta Factor: Alright Mickey Spillane story in regards to a private eye on a ClA mission to save a scientist imprisoned on an island. Cast includes Christopher George, Yvette Mimieux, Diane McBain, and Ralph Taeger. (91 minutes, 1970)

Slave Girls: Too glamorous Andress seized by locals and painted in arrangement for sacrifice in a scene essentially equivalent to that prompted by ex-spouse John Derek for current spouse Bo years later in Tarzan, The Ape Man. Cast includes Ursula Andress, Stacy Keach, Claudio Cassinelli, Antonio Marsina, and Franco Fantasia. (93 minutes, 1978)

Belles on Their Toes: Here, widowed architect Loy will battle to aid (in addition to raise) her aging brood. 20th Century Fox back lot seen at its best in recollecting early 1900s America. Clifton Webb makes a concise appearance at the finale. Cast includes Myrna Loy, Jeanne Crain, Debra Paget, Jeffrey Hunter, Edward Arnold, Hoagy Carmichael, Barbara Bates, Robert Arthur, Verna Felton, and Martin Milner. (89 minutes, 1952)

Spellbound: This is a wonderful documentary that follows 8 extremely variant youthful contestants who partake in the 1999 Nationwide Spelling Bee. Ths film is an immeasurably amusing and often pointed assessment of notions in reference to prosperity and the American fantasy, with the very last spelling bee as fascinating as anything to be discovered in a fiction film. (97 minutes, 2003)

I Wake Up Screaming: Amusing whodunit with Grable and Mature accused in the death of Betty’s sis, chased by decided cop Cregar. The film ends with an excellent twist.
