However, if you can make one of these hands on the “flop,” you also have to consider that someone else may have done so to, and their hand could be higher value than yours. With online casino games, the playing field is not equal if two players get a straight. Instead, it’ll go to the player with the highest valued straight.

Online poker can also be somewhat difficult because the “kicker” card may determine who the winner is. A lot of players forget about this rule and they may lose their stash in online games, if that does happen. As one example, if you hold an Ace, Queen pair and another player holds an Ace, King pair, AND then the flop card gives a pair of aces, you’ll have a pair of aces and the other player will too. However, the other player is going to win because he has a “King” kicker, while you only have a “Queen” kicker.
